Krutoy Media radio stations acquired by Mikhail Gutseriev structures

On January 29, 2013 Mikhail Gutseriev structures acquired a 75% share of the Krutoy Media holding (comprising radio stations Love Radio, Radio Dacha and Taxi FM) subject to the option to purchase up to 100% of the stocks. A 25% share of the holding’s stocks is still held by Igor Krutoy.

Love Radio has been launched in the radio market in 2000. Radio Dacha and Taxi FM have begun broadcasting in 2006. Krutoy Media radio stations are represented in over 180 cities. The holding manages its own branches in Saint-Petersburg (Love Radio, Radio Dacha) and owns a broadcasting license in Sochi. The frequency waves in the largest Russian cities – Arkhangelsk, Kemerovo, Perm, Irkutsk and Tumen are currently under development. According to TNS Russia, the daily reach of Radio Dacha and Love Radio constitutes 3 mln 671 ths people and 3 mln 480 ths people respectively (Russia, April-September 2012). The average daily audience of Taxi FM reaches 223 ths people (Moscow, October-December 2012).

To date the structures of Mikhail Gutseriev hold two Moscow radio stations – Vesna FM and Vostok FM. There currently exist no plans on bringing the five radio stations together into a single holding.

The program policy and musical content of Krutoy Media radio stations broadcasting remain the same.

The advertising time of radio stations Love Radio, Radio Dacha and Taxi FM is sold through the Krutoy Media Sales Department. The key strategic objectives of the holding are to expand the regional broadcasting and the network of its own branches in large Russian cities, as well as to develop online platforms.
